Timetoast (timelines)
This activity has the main objective of putting into practice, using the new technologies, some of the vocabulary and grammar contents seen in class and related to the topic of the unit (movies) as well as developing their abilities to summarize texts. The main advantage of using Timetoast for this purpose is that they have to cooperate and work together to select the basic information from the texts provided and a general view, thanks to the timespan, of the box office evolution of some of the most important films of the 21st century. First of all, we went to the computer classroom to perform the task. Then, we organised the groups of students and logged in the Timetoast webpage.
